Kelsey Meigs is a board certified music therapist and certified Neurologic Music Therapist. She holds a bachelor degree from Maryville University where she underwent three practica as well as an extensive internship at a forensic psychiatric hospital. Kelsey has worked with diverse clientele including children, adolescents, geriatrics, adults with developmental disabilities, mental illnesses, autistic spectrum, and hospice patients. Her experiences with St. Louis organizations and programs such as Creative Music Making and Rockabilities have inspired and shaped her approach to music.

Kelsey believes that each individual has unique experiences and through their relationship with music, there is potential for self-expression, personal growth, and creativity. In sessions, Kelsey uses client-preferred material and instruments to collaborate with clients so that they may create, explore, discover, and achieve desired goals.
